Julia Has Been Called to Join the Angels

Julia's Center for Healthcare is sad to announce the passing of our founder, Julia Grenier. This amazing beautiful soul joined the angles early on the morning of May 23, 2019. She left her mark on the world by helping others and being a wonderful mother, a grandmother and great grandmother.

An accomplished woman during her life, she was a graduate of TCU receiving a BS in nursing. In addition to raising a family and working in home health care, she was a volunteer for 35 years with the American Red Cross. Julia also started the Caritas outreach program at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton and worked with the charitable organization Plano Santas. She was the founder and Executive Director for the first free clinic in Collin County. The clinic operates under the name Julia’s Center led by those who previously worked with her. Mentor and servant of many, she was twice named Plano’s Volunteer of the Year.

From her granddaughter Christina's post of May 23rd:

"This amazing and beautiful soul joined the angels this early morning!! She left her mark on the world by helping others and being a wonderful momma to 3 beautiful strong women, a grandmother to myself and Brandon, my cousin, and a great grandmother to my two boys! she was a nurse for so many years and then opened a clinic for the less fortunate that is still open today!! She has the biggest heart and though she has left us on earth we know she is now watching us all now from Heaven!!! Jesus gained another angel! We love you grandmere and you will be missed!"
