Our Updated Statement on COVID-19 Procedures

To Our Patients:

With COVID-19 infection rates on the rise, Julia’s Center is concerned for you, your family, and your friend’s health and safety as well as for the providers and all the volunteers. Therefore, Julia’s Center to fight the spread of COVID-19 in our community and protect others, is suspending all in-person patient appointments until after the holidays. Instead of in person appointments, we will conduct televisits for patients with appointments in December. We have recently upgraded our communication equipment and can provide audio as well as video tele-health visits when requested. For patients with appointments in December, we will be reaching out to you to work out the details of conducting your appointment as a televisit with a provider.

Patients who have an appointment in December, on December 3, 8, 10, 15, and 17, will not come to the clinic, rather will have a telephone health visit with a provider.

The Provider will call you on the day of your appointment or provide a meeting link based on arrangements made. This will be on Tuesday or Thursday, around the time of your appointment between 5:30 PM and 7:30 PM. Please stay by the phone to answer the Provider’s call to you. A translator will be provided.

What does that mean?

That means that the providers will be able to remotely monitor your health, answer your questions, do prescription refills and order lab work as needed until the clinic plans to start seeing limited number of patients in person on the first week in January 2021. Check the clinic’s website for updates - JuliasCenter.com

We at Julia’s will continue to serve your health needs and will be available to you remotely by any one of these ways:

  • Telephone: 972-535-5099. Please leave a message and someone will return your call.
  • Tele-Health or Televisit (the Provider and the patient speak to one another by way of the phone or see and speak to one another on the computer. A Spanish translator will be available.
  • Tele-Health will be available to you every Tuesday and Thursday evening from 5:30 to 7:30 PM, just as when the clinic was open to see patients.

Note: Every year the clinic is closed on Thanksgiving Day and the two weeks at the end of the December. So, the clinic building will be closed to the public from Thursday, December 3, 2020 until Tuesday, January 5, 2021. We are hoping that by January 5th we can resume normal in clinic patient visits.

For medication refills, please take your medicine bottles to your pharmacy or call your pharmacy with the prescription number and request a refill. Your pharmacy will contact us for your refill. We will be monitoring phone messages during the holidays.

During these difficult times, if you need to see a health professional immediately, please consider going to the Watermark Urgent Care Clinic, 910 W. Parker Road, Suite 102, (Parker & Alma), Plano, TX 75075. Please call before going and report your health problem - 972-972-8930.
